Senate passes VA health care bill but now lawmakers must figure how to 'offset' $35 billion cost

Times-Picayune: WASHINGTON -- One day after the Senate voted 93-3 for legislation that would allow veterans who can't get a timely appointment at Veterans Affairs health centers to see a private doctor, lawmakers are trying to figure out how to pay for expanded care options.
