FDA chief becomes point man on drug prices

The Hill: Scott Gottlieb, head of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has emerged as a key figure in the Trump administration’s push to lower the cost of prescription drugs.

Gottlieb has moved to the front lines of the drug pricing fight, criticizing brand-name drug manufacturers he says are trying to block competition from getting to market.
