Verizon and Ginger.io aim to neutralize Medicaid 'superutilizers'
Government Health IT: Superutilizers. They’re the Medicaid elite, as in its most expensive patients. Hospitals, policymakers, and IT vendors, in fact, are working to simultaneously improve superutilizers’ health while also reducing the cost of caring for them.
Hopping into the fray, Verizon aligned with the non-profit Centerstone Research Institute and MIT-launched startup Ginger.io to launch coactionHealth.
