Two House Committees approve bill to end mass NSA surveillance

Government Security News: The House Intelligence Committee approved the USA Freedom Act Thursday, a bill that would put far greater restrictions on how the National Security Agency is able to collect and analyze Americans’ phone records. The approval comes about a year after former NSA contractor Edward Snowden first brought the surveillance program to light.
