DHS plans to survey government officials on emergency communications

Government Security News: The DHS office of emergency communications, which is a unit of the national protection and programs directorate, wants to send a survey to approximately 5,000 federal, state, local, tribal and territorial government officials to gather their input on challenges still facing interoperable emergency communications, and to solicit stakeholder feedback on the effectiveness of the office’s services.
