Stimulus extends unemployment benefits. Tens of thousands in NC may still be left out.

The News & Observer: The new stimulus bill offers jobless Americans another 10 weeks of unemployment benefits, but that may not help the tens of thousands of North Carolina residents who have already been left out of the program.

The Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program, established by the federal CARES Act, was Kat Ham and Aaron Helfgott’s last hope.
