Nation’s Public Health System ‘Chronically Underfunded for Decades,’ Study Finds
Homeland Security Today: The effort by federal, state and local public health departments around the country to build a resilient public health system has been hindered by “limited funds” and an inability “to adequately carry out many core functions, including programs to prepare for health emergencies," a new study has found.
